Dear Appeals Team,

I am writing to appeal the restriction of my personal Facebook profile Cupo Cupovski.

I would like to draw your attention to Facebook’s Name Policies (Help Center Article 707037433863989): “you may use a professional name if it is the name you are known by”. Cupo Cupovski IS the name my audience, colleagues and public recognize.

Cupo Cupovski is not a fake name or an attempt to impersonate someone else; it is my established professional and media identity. The account was created and has been used under my direction with my legal identification linked since the beginning.

I have been active under this name for years across multiple platforms, serving as a journalist and media creator. My verifiable digital footprint includes:

  • PERSONAL NOTE: So, some pedophile, murderer or communist wants our private data now, and Facebook is forcing us to give them our first name, last name, and address so they can find us more easily. Come on, get away from Facebook, those people are totally sick. We aren’t politicians who have security or police protection 24 hours a day. To clarify, our issue is not with providing private data to the platform for internal verification purposes. The real problem is that platforms like Facebook are conditioning access by forcing users to display this sensitive, private information publicly. Forcing regular people to expose their real names and addresses to the public is irresponsible and a direct threat to their personal security, turning the platform into a dangerous tool that leaves users completely unprotected.

My legal name was verified on 18 July 2026 with ID, passport, email and phone. For security reasons I do not wish to publish my legal name and address publicly. I am known privately and professionally as Cupo Cupovski.

By restricting my private account, Facebook is preventing me from utilizing the name under which my audience and professional network recognize me. I am fully compliant with Facebook’s Community Standards and request that you allow me to use Cupo Cupovski as my professional name on Facebook, while maintaining my legal name associated with the account.

I look forward to a manual review and a swift resolution to this matter on Facebook.
